Durham, N.C - The fall sports teams finished their seasons this week. The tennis and cross country teams completed their years in the state championships on Saturday while the soccer team hosted their second state playoff game of the year.
The soccer team hosted Raleigh Charter in the third round of the state playoffs on Wednesday. The Unicorns took the first two meetings of the year but couldn't pull out the win in the third. The two teams were deadlocked at 1-all in regualation and three goals by Raleigh Charter proved to be too much for NCSSM. The defending 1A state champions complete their season with a 16-1 record.
The winter sport seasons are finishing up tryouts and games begin in the next few weeks for most of the sports.
